QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for the residence visa program, applicants must fulfill one of the options below in addition to meeting the following criteria:

RESIDENCE PERMIT OPTIONS:
1. SELF-EMPLOYMENT
Register your Business in Spain and obtain a 1-year Residence Visa (Renewable).
Live, Work, Travel, and Do Business in any European country.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Entrepreneurs who want to start their own business or work as freelancers in Spain.
REQUIREMENTS:
• It must be proven that the business activity is viable and sustainable.
• A business plan must be submitted.
• Proof of professional qualifications may be required.
• It must be proven that the applicant has sufficient financial resources for the initial period.
• All necessary permits and registrations must be obtained (e.g., tax number, social security).
BENEFITS:

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND TIMELINE FOR RESIDENCE VISA APPLICATION:
I. APPLYING FOR NIE NUMBER
Documents required:
- Passport and its copy
- Completed form and proof of payment of the fee
- Document proving the purpose of the application (e.g., employment contract, company formation documents)
Duration: 1-5 weeks
II. APPLYING FOR RESIDENCE PERMIT
Documents required:
- Passport and its copy
- NIE number
- Completed application form
- Health insurance certificate
- Proof of financial means
- Proof of address (Registration)
Duration: 1-2 months
III. ADDRESS REGISTRATION
Documents required:
- Passport and its copy
- Proof of address (e.g., rental contract, utility bill)
Duration: A few days later
RESIDENCE PERMIT APPLICATION PROCESS:
- The main Applicant applies for Self-Employed D Type Visa
- The main Applicant travels to Spain
- Register the Business in Spain
- Applicant receives the Business Registration Number and Tax Number
- Apply for a Residence Permit Application
- Receive the Residence Permit Card upon approval (renewable annually)
APPLICATION FEES FOR SELF-EMPLOYMENT RESIDENCY:
The application fees include legal fees, government administration fees, due diligence, and services mentioned below for the residence permit.
REFUND POLICY: Application Fees is 100% refundable if the Client's application is refused due to Visa Line, else 65% of the application fee is refunded (refer CFA ground of refusal clause).

CONDITIONS FOR APPLYING FOR RESIDENCE PERMIT:
- Health insurance: To apply for a residence permit, you need comprehensive health insurance that covers the entire period of your stay in Spain. This can be private insurance or a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) with appropriate coverage.
- Proof of financial resources: You must prove that you have sufficient financial resources to support yourself and any family members during your stay in Spain. This can be done by presenting bank statements, a work contract, or other proof of income. Latest bank statement showing proof of fund (min. €20,000 - €50,000 is recommended)
- Registration of residence: Everyone living in Spain must register their residence with the local government. This is necessary to access certain services, such as healthcare or school enrollment.
- Visa requirement: Third-country nationals generally need to apply for a visa at the Spanish consulate or embassy in their home country before travelling to Spain. The type of visa varies depending on the purpose of their stay (e.g., work, studies, self-employment, family reunification).
- Residence permit: A residence permit must be applied if they are staying in Spain for more than 90 days. The conditions for this include a stable source of income, comprehensive health insurance, and no criminal record.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Entry for a non-tourist visa:
The safest way to obtain a residence permit for clients is to apply for a long-term visa, i.e., Visa Type D in their country in addition to the appropriate residence permit. This can be:
1. An employment visa (if the applicant is employed by a Spanish company).
2. A self-employment permit/visa (if they intend to work as an entrepreneur).
3. A study or research visa if they are coming for educational purposes.
4. A non-revenue resident visa (if they prove that they have sufficient financial resources to support themselves).
Minimum financial resources required:
Residence Visa Type: Work Permit
Min. financial resources required: €1,134 / month gross (€13,608 / year)
Documents needed: Employment contract, employer certificates
Residence Visa Type: Self-employment permit
Min. financial resources required: Min. €20,000 starting capital
Documents needed: Business plan, bank account, client contracts
Residence Visa Type: Non-revenue-generating license
Min. financial resources required: €28,800 / year (€2,400 / month) + €7,200 / year per family member
Documents needed: Bank statements, investments, and pension
2. REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT (THIS PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE)
Minimum Investment €500,000 in Real Estate (Govt-approved) for one year and sell after one year.
RESIDENCE VISA APPLICATION PROCESS FOR REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT:
1. Applicant travels to Spain via a 6-month Business Visa
2. Invest €500,000 in Real Estate and receive a property registration certificate (government-approved)
3. Apply for a lifetime Golden Residence Visa
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

2. Latest Bank Statement showing proof of funds
3. Completed Application Form and proof of payment of the fee

Application fees include service and legal fees, due diligence, and proof of funds verification.
