QUALIFICATIONS
The Grenada Citizenship by Investment Program was launched in 2013 under the regulations of the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Act. Grenada’s pilot scheme allows qualified investors and their family members to apply for citizenship and benefit from visa-free travel.
In recent years tourism has become the leading sector for foreign direct investments in Grenada. Another service sector on the rise is the offshore financial industry, which together with strong performances in construction and manufacturing, have also contributed to growth in national output.
As part of its strategy to attract foreign direct investment, the Grenadian government is working closely with a select number of businesses related to tourism, agriculture and manufacturing. Through the implementation of the program, the government also hopes to create investment opportunities that will bring about sustainable employment.

INVESTMENT OPTIONS
1. Real Estate Investment
Treasured by investors for its unspoiled beauty, Grenada’s natural landscape is but one of the many enticements to invest in real estate on the island. There are several options available to applicants; including Government-approved real estate developments, that encompass diverse projects such as hotels, villas, and resorts.

Single Applicant or a family of up to 4 opting for the Real Estate option must invest a minimum of US$270,000 with no obligation to visit or reside on the island. The main applicant can also include an unlimited number of eligible dependents, including siblings, children and parents. The opportunity to invest in Grenada’s Real Estate sector is an invitation to indulge in a long and fruitful relationship with the island and its culture, as well as contribute to its future, as a Grenadian citizen.

2. National Transformation Fund Donation
​
Applicants may donate a minimum of US$235,000 to Grenada’s National Transformation Fund. The minimum amount covers a single applicant only. For a family of two to four people, the requirement is set at US$235,000. An extra donation of US$25,000 is required for each additional dependent. Donations can be transferred in two installments.

Permanent Residency Certificates
The permanent residence status has been removed entirely from the citizenship by investment process. As a result, the government has ceased issuing PR cards and certificates. Updates for an alternative form of national ID will be communicated when received.

APPLICATION FEES
​
Visa Line's Advisory fees are based on the number of dependents, country of origin, residence and other retained services, as well as service and legal fees related to the submission of citizenship and passport application for the main applicant. The advisory fees are non- refundable and are payable in two equal installments.

REAL ESTATE GOVERNMENT FEES
US$50,000: For a single applicant or for a family of up to four dependents.
US$25,000: Per additional dependent after the third dependent.

APPLICATION FEES
US$1,500: Per person.
PROCESSING FEES
US$1,500: Per person and each qualified dependent aged 18 and over, including spouse, siblings and parents.
US$500: Dependent under 18.
DUE DILIGENCE FEES
US$5,000: Per person. Qualified dependents aged 16 and below do not pay due diligence fees.
US$8,000: Non accompanying spouse

Additional passport issuance, Oath of Allegiance and bank fees (1%) and VAT (15%) are applicable

1. File preparation stage. Visa Line Capital will verify all documents and complete due diligence.
Application fees are applicable at this stage.

Once the processing and due diligence fees have been paid, the investment is made within 2 different stages. An initial deposit must be made upon submission of the citizenship application, and once approved, the balance must be paid. The passports are then issued shortly afterwards.​

FAQ 4. ​HOW DOES GRENADA’S E2 VISA TREATY WITH THE U.S. WORK?
Grenada is the only Caribbean country that offers citizens the option to apply for an E-2 Work Visa with the right to live and operate a business in the U.S. Processing time is usually 2 months, or less and is valid for up to 5 years, with an unlimited number of extensions. Unlike with U.S. permanent residence, E-2 visa holder may be able to avoid taxation on worldwide income.
